The Miss Maurice organization released an official statement on Monday stating the new appointment of Miss Maurice 2022. Alexandrine Belle Etoile has been appointed as Miss Maurice 2022. She will represent Mauritius at Miss Universe 2022 and Miss Supranational 2022. Etoile succeeded Miss Maurice 2021 Anne Murielle Ravina for the title.

“The Miss Maurice Organization is happy to announce that Miss Alexandrine Belle-Étoile will represent Mauritius at the Miss Supranational 2022 and Miss Universe 2022 pageants. Miss Belle-Étoile, has been selected by the Miss Maurice Team after her excellent interview at the last casting. 21 young women would continue their journey and compete at the Miss Maurice pageant on June 25th. The winner of Miss Maurice 2022/23 will compete in Miss Supranational 2023 and Miss Universe 2023, whereas the first runner-up will compete in Miss Asia-Pacific 2023,” the official statement read.

“The entire Miss Maurice Team fell in love with Miss Belle-Étoile’s sparkling, kind and humble personality, and is looking forward to working with her. The National Director, Mr Nevin Rupear had a meeting with Miss Belle-Étoile earlier today to announce the news to her in person. Miss Belle-Étoile is over the moon, she is excited to start her journey by working closely with some of the former titleholders and Mister Maurice on some social projects, which are close to her heart,” it further stated.

Alexandrine Belle-Etoile is a degree holder in Fine Arts and teaches Arts and French in a private primary (elementary) school. She has modelled for several big brands in Mauritius. The 25-year-old is passionate about visual arts and her dream is to visit some of the most renowned museums in the world.

She was in awe when she visited ‘Le Louvre in France. Next on her bucket list is the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence, Italy. Her dream is to bring together artists to form a school of the arts for people of all ages, from children to adults. The plan is to start with painting and grow to a variety of other art forms over time, a project she is committed to promoting during her reign.

Alexandrine is always happy to show the beauty of arts to others, and share her values and life experiences. She believes that success has no age and it starts with talent.
