The Miss South Africa organization has commenced the search for the new queens as they opened the applications for this year’s edition. The entries for aspiring divas from all over the country will end on 30th April.

While entries of divas have begun to flood in, one name is making a comeback for the national title this year. Former contestant Savannah De Almeida has confirmed her application for Miss South Africa 2022. “Stronger than ever and ready to be the power house female figure our society needs,” the diva wrote as she shared her application video on her social media.

“The time is now to encourage our youth to be entrepreneurs, to have the courage and confidence to face their challenges head on and be innovative in creating strategies for success! My aim is to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be by implementing innovative strategies today that will help you reach your goals tomorrow,” she added.

The diva is currently working as Marketing Communications Manager for an all-female international marketing agency and is also a model, dancer, entrepreneur and a digital creator. Savannah is returning for the title because she believes, “What I have to say and what I bring to the table is of value to every South African currently struggling to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.”

As Miss South Africa, Savannah would use her knowledge of the digital marketing space, specifically to use for free online platforms as a means to create business and market it online. The organization is all set to elect the divas who will represent the country at international platforms such as Miss World and Miss Universe. The reigning Miss South Africa 2021 Lalela Mawane will crown her successor at the end of the event.
