Aline Morger, 19-year old beauty from Lucerne, was crowned Miss World Switzerland 2014 at the finals of the event held at the Sektor11 Event Hall in Zürich on July 26th 2014. She will now represent her country in Miss World 2014.
Djana Cvijetic was adjudged the first runner-up, while Anja Koller finished the second runner-up.
Miss World Switzerland commenced in 2013, when HBC Entertainment GmBH became the official franchisee of Miss World international pageant. In 2013, Cindy Williner became the first Miss World Switzerland under the new franchise, and represented Switzerland at Miss World 2013 pageant.
Prior to that till 2005, usually the first runner-up or sometimes the winner of Miss Switzerland was sent to represent Switzerland at Miss World. However, from 2006-2012 there was no representation from Switzerland at the Miss World pageant as there was no franchisee during that period.
