Her parents are her biggest supporters and her source of inspiration; her father immediately went on stage as she was crowned the national winner and calmed her down a lot. He supports her a lot and always advises her to be herself and to do things for her first. Her mother is the one who is most excited, she has been the one who helped her the most.

In the future, she would like to create her own NGO, because since she was little, Amaia grew up in a very supportive environment. One of her grandmothers studied teaching at a time when women did not do it, was dedicated to helping people from the surrounding villages to learn to read and write.

Last year, Elisa Tulian represented Spain in Miss World 2017 where she failed to secure a position in the Top 40. Spain won its first-ever Miss World crown quite recently in 2015 where Mireia Lalaguna represented the country. Will this be a second win for the country remains to be seen but Amaia is definitely on the right track!
