Miss Grand Chiangmai 2022 was held last night at Central Plaza Chiangmai Airport, Chiangmai Province. The theme of the pageant was ‘Warp to the Future’ and at the end of the event finale, Athita Payak was crowned the new queen.
Athita Payak gave a stellar performance at the provincial contest. She is 26 years of age and stands 173 cm tall. Athita Payak will definitely be a strong contender at Miss Grand Thailand 2022 where she will represent Chiangmai.
The newly crowned Miss Grand Chiangmai 2022 Athita Payak’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Chayaa Torcharroen
2nd Runner-up – Benjanut Aksornsri
3rd Runner-up – Patchareeporn Phongsura
4th Runner-up – Ketwarin Sreepinpao
Miss Grand Chiangmai organization also took to their official social media to make the announcement, “Congratulations to the new Miss Grand Chiang Mai 2022 @chompu_athita welcome to Grand family! She will be the representative of CHIANG MAI in @missgrandthailand 2022.”
The pageant also saw the special appearance of the newly crowned Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên and Mr.Nawat, the President of Miss Grand International organization. The contest was held under strict measures as participants were required to present an immunization certificate or COVID-19 test results within 72 hours to the staff before joining the event.
