Ayn Bernos, a former Miss Universe Philippines contestant, is all set to enter the business world as she launched a new beauty brand with her fellow TikTok creators. Her brand name is ‘Kayu Beauty’ which will go live starting 19th February this year.

The brand promises to offer ‘products inspired by you’ and the first collection is called the Kayu Kiss. It includes moisturizing lipsticks in six shades to suit different skin tones. She took to her official social media where she made an official statement –

“Meet Kayu Kiss. The classic bullet lipstick, inspired by you. So proud to be releasing these soft matte moisturizing lipsticks with our amazing team after a year of working on it! The formula is light and buildable, and we chose these six shades specifically, so you always have something to suit YOU. It’s like a capsule wardrobe — effortless, flattering, dependable — only they’re gorgeous lippies.”

In a TikTok video, Bernos said Kayu is short for kayumanggi or the Filipino word for brown. She said they decided to create a makeup line specifically for Morena after observing that they tend to be ‘an afterthought’ in many beauty campaigns. Congratulations to the beauty queen for obtaining a new feat.
