Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the national pageant, will be held later this year where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and win the opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2022.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. One of the most anticipated participation this year is supposed to be that of Chantal Elise Schmidt.

Chantal stands at 177 cm tall and holds a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in German and English from the Cebu International School. She is currently taking up Law at a German university through online classes.

Born in Hong Kong, her mom is from Bacolod and her dad from Frankfurt, Germany. She later moved to Sydney, Bacolod City, Frankfurt, back to Hong Kong, then Cebu, and now Manila. She has been modelling since she was 16 and is a confessed dog lover.

Chantal loves to spend time at the beach and on picnics with her friends. The 20-year-old is mom to two cute furballs and will be responsible for representing Cebu City at the national pageant, according to media reports.
