At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017, Binibini 39 Elizabeth Durado Clenci was crowned as Miss Grand Philippines 2017. Elizabeth succeeds Miss Grand Philippines 2016 Nicole Cordoves, and will now represent the country at Miss Grand International 2017.
This was Elizabeth’s second try at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant. The last time she competed was in the year 2011. Her confidence is reflected in her every move and the way she conducts herself is commendable. This music- major is half Romanian and half Filipino but grew up in Australia, and is all set to make it big at the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant to be held later this year.
The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 started with the introduction of the 40 contestants. All the delegates took the stage to introduce themselves to the audience. Dressed up in glittery cocktail dresses, the girls looked gorgeous. At the same pageant, Binibini 19 Rachel Louise Peters was crowned as Bb Pilipinas 2017 and will represent the country at Miss Universe 2017 pageant.
Binibini 15 Maria Angelica de Leon was crowned Bb Pilipinas International 2017, Binibini 22 Chanel Olive Thomas was crowned as Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2017, Binibini 31 Katarina Sonja Rodriguez was crowned Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017, and Binibini 18 Nelda Ibe was crowned Bb Pilipinas Globe 2017. Binibini 32 Charmaine Elima, and Binibini 40 Kristel Guelos finished as first and second runners-up respectively.
