Recently, Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters received a grand homecoming parade on reaching back to her homeplace Camarines Sur. Fans welcomed the beauty with so much warmth and love, upon arrival. She toured around the streets of Camerines Sur as she waved at her fans and the media present there to cover the homecoming. The gala finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017, held on 30th April 2017, concluded with the crowning of Binibini 19 Rachel Louise Peters as the winner. Rachel succeeds Bb Pilipinas 2016 Maxine Medina, and will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant.
PLDTHome also welcomed home Rachel Peters, the new PLDT Home Ambassadress along with the newly-crowned BbPilipinas2017 Queens. All the lovely ladies looked mesmerizing at the event and made it exhilarating for the people present there. Rachel answered all the media questions confidently and made everyone realize about the reason why she made it to the top. Rest of the beauty queens too enjoyed every bit of the event and turned it into a gala celebration.
At the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant, Binibini 15 Maria Angelica de Leon was crowned Bb Pilipinas International 2017, Binibini 22 Chanel Olive Thomas was crowned as Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2017, Binibini 39 Elizabeth Durado Clenci was announced as Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2017, Binibini 31 Katarina Sonja Rodriguez was crowned Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017, and Binibini 18 Nelda Ibe was crowned Bb Pilipinas Globe 2017. Binibini 32 Charmaine Elima, and Binibini 40 Kristel Guelos finished as first and second runners-up respectively.
