The 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas i.e., Bininbining Pilipinas 2020 will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. Binibining Pilipinas Organization unveiled the Top 40 delegates on 6th February 2020 as these Top 40 divas will fight for the national titles and the chance to represent Philippines at various international pageants. The well-known face of the Philippines Bellatrix Gabriel Tan was awarded Binibini No. 39 as she secured her rightful spot in the Top 40 along with other Filipina beauties.
Binibining Pilipinas 2020 will award four titles to Philippine representatives to four major international beauty pageants which are Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2020, Binibining Pilipinas International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2020 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2020.
Bellatrix Tan is from Asia’s Latin City; Zamboanga and is 24-years-old and stands 175cm tall. She is a Communication graduate who is very dedicated and hardworking. She is currently working as a professional model. The diva explained that she is very close to her family and they spend every night together at the dining table eating food together as she believes that simple bonding strengthens the relationship. She is very thankful to her family and friends for helping and motivating her to pursue her dreams.
Bellatrix is not new to the pageantry world as she has participated in Miss Earth Philippines 2016 where she was placed as the runner-up. Bellatrix came in the limelight after she answered a question during the question and answer round wrong. She got confused with two words asked as a question and her nervousness took over as she answered the question wrong which she later clarified. Bellatrix received a lot of backlash about answering a question wrong but this didn’t stop the diva from pursuing her dream of being a beauty queen.
Bellatrix has worked with various designers and photographers as a professional model and with that experience she works on her on-stage walk, communication and interview skills. She also works on her body language every day to be ready for the any future pageants. She has a very beautiful face and smile which will capture your attention instantly.
Bellatrix believes in quality of environment education and have wished that people would raise awareness about the importance of education and environment among the society so that everyone in the world would be able to get education. She along with education also advocates about the plantation and less use of plastic to save mother earth. She believes that the youth or young generation is the hope of the nation and they need to be prepared for the situations like the ones we’re facing today. She promotes the advocacy of ‘Reduce Reuse Recycle Respect Rethink’.
Bellatrix has participated in various activities and helped various NGOs as a volunteer who work for the cleaning, plantation and save the nature. She wants to use the international platform to raise awareness about the same and would like to change people’s let go mindset when it comes to mother earth.
Bellatrix Tan is also an advocate of cyber-bullying. She believes that no one deserves to be humiliated or degraded online when technology was built to create a safe space for everyone. She has a page “CyberBELLA” where she takes her stand on the cyber-bullying. The diva faced cyber-bullying after Miss Earth Philippines 2016 competition and doesn’t want anyone to face the same kind of bullying. She’d like to talk about cyber-bullying and reach out to people and make them understand that how much the mean comments can hurt someone.
Bellatrix can be one of the strong contenders for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2020 because of her experience and confidence in the pageantry world. She is very positive and kind hearted towards everyone and has started to prepare for the competition.
