Miss USA 2018 will hold its finale on 21st May 2018 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana where Miss USA 2017 Kara McCullough will crown her successor from the 51 contestants who will fight for the national title.
But before that, let’s take a look at the top 10 contenders of the national crown who can, in our opinion, represent the USA at Miss Universe 2018. In a series of features, we will introduce these wonderful women who definitely have what it takes to win Miss USA 2018.
Brittinay Nicolette from Fallston was crowned Miss Maryland USA 2018 on 29th October 2017 by Miss Maryland USA 2017 Adrianna David.
She is a Hospital Services Coordinator at The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland. Brittinay’s heart of gold is definitely her strength in this competition.
She even made it to our Top 20 contendors for the crown of Miss USA 2018.
She is currently a Transplant Coordinator for the Living Legacy Foundation, the Maryland State Organ Procurement Organization. Maryland currently has one of the lowest self-designation donation rates in the country, and Brittinay plans to spend her year advocating for Marylanders to register to become organ donors.
In addition to Organ Donation, Brittinay is an advocate for Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Awareness. After experiencing sexual assault and dating abuse first hand, she has made it her mission to spread awareness through sharing her story. She has spoken on college campuses, and would like to use her title as a megaphone for this cause.
In her free time Brittinay is a member of the Junior League of Baltimore, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
After seven attempts at the title over a ten year span, Brittinay Nicolette was crowned Miss Maryland USA 2018 on October 29, 2017.
