Cambodia has always been highly appreciated and a fan favourite at major beauty pageants and has been consistently strong with their delegations and representations. For the new session of 2022 in the pageant world, the country is again set for another year of splendid performances across international platforms.

So, without any further ado, let us meet the Cambodian beauty queens of 2022 –

Miss World Cambodia 2021 Sovattey Sary

Sovattey Sary was crowned as Miss World Cambodia 2021 on the evening of 14th October 2021 as she bested 23 contestants for the title. The diva will now represent Cambodia at the Miss World 2022 pageant.

The diva hails from Kratié province, currently living and working in Phnom Penh. She graduated from Royal University of Phnom Penh. Currently, she is an actress, model, freelance interpreter. She believes in, “living for the bigger purpose than myself.” The diva is strong, dedicated and has a charming personality and can definitely raise the Cambodian flag high at the international platform.

Miss International Cambodia 2021 Charany Chea

Chea Charany from Battambang was crowned as Miss International Cambodia 2021 on 11th October 2021 and will now be representing Cambodia at the 60th Miss International Beauty Pageant, the next edition that will be held in the fall of 2022.

Hailing from Battambang, 26 years old Chea stands 165 cm tall and lives in Phnom Penh. She is a Banking and Finance graduate from Build Bright University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She is a former Kindergarten and Primary English teacher at USA International School, Battambang and also a former Training Admin Assistant at NagaWorld Hotel and Casino.

Miss Supranational Cambodia 2022 Leakena Ln

Leakena Ln was adjudged as the first runner-up at the coronation ceremony of Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 and was crowned as the first ever Miss Supranational Cambodia 2022. Standing at 178 cm tall, Leakena represented Cambodia at the recently held edition of Miss Supranational pageant. Leakena prepared for Cambodia’s debut on the Miss Supranational stage. Prior to this, the diva was also the first runner-up at the Miss World Cambodia 2019 competition. 

Miss Intercontinental Cambodia 2022 Sim Chan Sreymom

Finishing as the first runner-up at the coronation of Miss World Cambodia 2021 held on 14th October 2021, Sim ChanSreymom was crowned as Miss Intercontinental Cambodia 2022 as she will be representing the country at the Miss Intercontinental 2022 pageant.

Based in Phnom Penh, the diva studies at the Royal University and was also a runner up at the Freshie Girl competition in Season 18. She believes that beauty pageants provide opportunity for the women love the field of beauty to have the opportunity to participate and be able to express their abilities.

Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 Manita Hang

Manita Hang was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 at the finale held on 15th June 2022 at the Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio in Phnom Penh. Manita Hang was born to a French father and a Cambodian mother and is of French-Cambodian heritage. The stunning beauty is fluent in Cambodian, French and English. Manita attended Lyçée Français René Descartes in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In December 2021, she graduated from CamEd Business School in Phnom Penh with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.

While these divas are geared up and are preparing for their respective international pageants, the search for Miss Universe Cambodia will soon begin as the new year for beauty pageants is about to commence amidst all the regional competitions being held and wishlists are being prepared. As we await to meet our new queens for this session, many potential names have got the pageant fanatics charged up for another exciting edition.
