18 years old Cecilie Wellemberg from Rungsted Kyst is beaming with joy, as the beauty has been announced as the winner of Miss Universe Denmark 2015 at the finals held on August 15’ 2015 at AC Bella Sky Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark. Cecilia Iftikhar, Miss Universe Denmark 2013 of Copenhagen crowned Cecile as her successor at the end of the event. Cecile will now represent Denmark at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.
Cecile entered the Miss Universe Denmark 2015pageant to challenge herself and because she didn’t want to be known as just another beautiful face. She described in an interview that the five qualities that a Miss Universe Denmark winner must possess are – Intelligence, Humility, Gratitude, Will Power and Natural Beauty. And we believe Cecile possesses all of them. The gorgeous lady also has some piece of advice for those who would like to participate at the pageant someday. “I would say that it is important to know who you are as a person. Be the best version of yourself both physically and mentally but the most important is that you know who you are and what you stand for”, says Cecile.
The finale of Miss Universe Denmark was graced by Stefanía Fernández, Miss Universe 2009 of Venezuela and Larissa Ramos, Miss Earth 2009 of Brazil. At the same event, Turið Elinborgardóttir was crowned Miss Earth Denmark 2015. She will now represent Denmark at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant. Mette Riis Sørensen was crowned as Miss International Denmark 2015 and will compete at the Miss International 2015 pageant. Silvija Vukovic was crowned Miss United Continent Denmark 2016. She will be the face for Denmark at the Miss United Continent Denmark 2016. In addition to announcing the winners, Klaudia Parsberg , Laila Karim were announced as the runners-up of the Miss Universe Denmark 2015.
