Miss World Philippines 2020 will be held in the month of December where the divas from all over the country will compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the Philippines at Miss World 2020. The organization will also crown the representative of the Philippines to Miss Supranational from this year.

The organization also announced that the participation of the previous title holders will also be allowed if they are eligible (age) and not crowned Miss World Philippines prior to this edition. With wishlists being prepared for the crown, Celeste Cortesi seems like an ideal contender for Miss World Philippines 2020 crown. The 22-year-old stunning beauty stands 177 cm tall and is a professional model.

Not new to the pageant world, Celeste earlier represented Manila at Miss Earth Philippines 2018 and won the national crown. She went on to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2018 and with her outstanding performance, she placed in the Top 8. Celeste has the beauty as well as the experience to represent Philippines at an international platform such as Miss World.

With ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ being an essential part of Miss World, the delegates are also required to have an advocacy that helps people around the world with humanitarian causes. Another pageant that requires an important advocacy is Miss Earth and since Celeste has already given a strong performance in Miss Earth previously, she will definitely know what to do at Miss World if she gets a chance.
