Diana Harkusha, standing on the Miss Universe 2014 stage on 24th January 2015 in Florida, USA, won another big placement for her country as she was adjudged the second runner-up. She became the third Ukrainian woman in this decade to win a placement in the Top 3 at Miss Universe. The stunning beauty queen sure was a front runner and a crowd’s favourite that year to win the crown.
Diana is a Ukrainian actress, model, dancer and beauty queen who competed in Miss Universe Ukraine 2014 and was adjudged the first runner-up position at the national contest. As Anna Andres, former Miss Universe Ukraine 2014 resigned her position due to personal reasons, Diana was appointed the Miss Universe Ukraine 2014 title. Prior to her national win, she also held the titles of Miss Artek 2008, Etnokoroleva Slobozhanshchiny 2011 and Miss Kharkiv 2012.
The stunning beauty, at the age of 19, then represented Ukraine in Miss Universe 2014 where she placed as the second runner-up at the end of the event finale. She was a front-runner throughout the competition for the title who speaks fluent Ukrainian, English and Russian. She attended Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in 2011 and currently works as a model, standing 180 cm tall.
Not just a beauty, Diana is also an intelligent woman as she spoke of Russia’s war against Ukraine and the support needed by its army and people at Miss Universe 2014. She said, “Now we have a very difficult situation in our country. So, the most important contribution would be support to our army and our people.” Her answer definitely garnered a lot of appreciation from the audience.

She is loved by her dedicated followers and has made a successful career for herself ever since her Miss Universe 2014 stint.
