Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 finale was culminated with the crowning of its new queen Floor Masselink at the end of the amazing gala that took place on June 5’ 2016 in Netherlands. The winner, Floor Masselink was crowned by Miss Grand Netherlands 2015, Shauny Bult.

The 20 years old beauty queen clinched the coveted crown after defeating 3 finalists who were officially chosen to represent different regions of Netherlands at the Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 pageant. Floor did not think that she would win the pageant and the result was a surprise for her as well. She is a first year student in Communication and Multimedia Design. She loves exploring new cultures, and thinks that it’s both amazing and wonderful how many different cultures are there in the world.
The official candidates were selected after undergoing an intense casting and were judged by the juries on the basis of their catwalk, dance, vocal pitch and interviews. A small ceremony was organized by the “12 months of beauty”, the franchise holder of Miss Grand Netherlands and Miss Earth Netherlands, which was held in Amsterdam to select this year’s representatives.

The exciting finale was judged by the eminent panel of juries who were - Miss Grand Netherlands 2015: Shauny Bult, Miss Grand Netherlands 2014: Francis Everduim, Supermodel Netherlands 2016, Miss Supranational Netherlands 2013: Leila Aigbedion, and BaroQco Jewels owner: Eduardo Liem.
