The grand coronation night of Miss Asia Pacific International 2017 concluded with the crowning of Francielly Ouriques from Brazil. She is indeed beauty with brains. The way she answered in the Q&A round is worth praising.

While all the Top 10 finalists gave quite fitting answers, one girl who stood out among the rest was the first runner-up of the night Acacia Walker from New Zealand. She killed both the Q&A rounds with her smartness and intellectuality.

There were 2 such rounds, first among the Top 10 finalists and then Top 5 finalists. The first round consisted of different questions for all the girls.

Acacia Walker of New Zealand was asked this question, “Who is your ultimate role model and why do you look upto this person?”

Lovely Acacia smilingly said, “It will probably have to be my grand-dad. I’ve lived with him my whole life and he has taught me the simplicity of happiness and to always smile even if the things aren’t going your way. He believes in peace and that people should always stick together. It reminds me of a quote from the famous J.K. Rowling, we are only as strong as we are united, and as weak as we are divided.”

Wow! Now that’s a deep answer and also heart touching.

Francielly Ouriques from Brazil had to face this question, “What do you think is the best quality about your culture and heritage?”

She answered, “The main quality of my culture is certainly respect for others, along with valorisation of our principles, and everything that we can show that we can do the others. Brazilian people are warriors and they pursue their objective and dreams with humility and I am very proud for representing this nation.”
