At the conclusion of Miss Alaska USA 2017 finale held at Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage, Alaska, Brooke Johnson of Anchorage was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2018 and she will now represent her state in Miss USA 2018 expected to be held next year. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Alaska USA 2017 Alyssa London.
The gorgeous Brooke is 26 years of age and completed her studies from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Cinema Arts. She is the first woman from her state to work as a photojournalist at Coastal Television. Not only this, she is also an active member of a non-profit organization YEA (Young-Youth Empowered Achievers). As a peer leader, Brooke’s goal is to educate youth by implementing lessons in the public school system. She indeed seems to be a passionate woman.
With the title of Miss Alaska USA 2018, Brooke dreams to empower all young women of her nation and show them that when you have the courage to chase your dreams, they will come true.
At the same event, McKinley Heather Belle Wooten was crowned Miss Alaska Teen USA 2018 and she will now represent her state in Miss Teen USA 2018.
