She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2019 competition which will happen on 8th December at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States.

The diva is not new to pageantry as she joined Miss World Philippines 2014 and placed in the Top 13. On June 9, 2019, she competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2019 representing Talisay, Cebu and won the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2019.

During the question and answer portion of the national pageant, she was asked: "If you win the crown tonight, what can you do to get more women in the workplace?" She replied: “If I win the crown tonight, what I will do is to promote my advocacy. My advocacy is for us women to fight for our rights and for elderly care and for us to be able to know that someone is loving and someone is pushing us to whatever ambitions that we have. We will be able to rise from our decisions to whatever dreams that we have, goals that we have, and we will achieve it because of those values, those wisdoms that they gave us.”

Last August, Gazini spent time with some residents of the Luwalhati Maynila Home for the Aged. She was overwhelmed with the experience and the time she has been spending with the elderly and said, "It’s been overwhelming to know and to see that they’re all happy where they are right now. However, there are some concerns and plight that they have relayed to me. So when I meet senators [and other politicians] in the future, I can relate it to them."

As she is very close to her grandparents, her main advocacy is “elderly care”. She said that speaking on behalf of the elderly makes the beauty queen feel fulfilled. She also talked about a lot of work which is still needs to be done, especially when it comes to the medical needs of the lolos and lolas, who depend on the government for their medicines. She said,"The main concern they want is the medicines they’re getting from the pharmacies. Some of the pharmacies are not giving 20% [discount] because some of the pharmacies are private right? So they would only give about 10%, 5% [discounts] and these elderly people only have P500 per month from their budget from the government. So how can they afford to buy medicines for them to be able to continue life in this world?" "So just I hope and pray that the issue will be [brought] into [the] Senate or somewhere else. So they’ll be able to conveniently buy their medicines on hand."
