Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Gracelle Nicole Distura has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Quezon Province. She is 22 years of age and frequently does modelling gigs. In her introduction video, Gracelle shared,” Taking the path of Miss Universe is never easy but I never expect it to be. Because winning does not happen by chance but rather a combination of hard work, perseverance, faith, compassion and determination.”

Describing herself, she stated,” I am a person who puts her thoughts into actions and I never give up until I am done. That is why I deserve to be the next Miss Universe.”

Distura is no stranger to the world of beauty competitions. She boasts of an extensive portfolio as a pageant veteran, as she has won the titles of Miss Enverga 2022 and Binibining Bondoc Pensula 2020. She was the second runner up at Miss Silka Quezon 2017 and the fourth runner up at Mutyang Quezon Turismo 2017 competition.

Gracelle partakes in athletic activities from time to time and goes running. She also enjoys clicking pictures of life around her besides participating in marathons. The diva participated in last year’s competition as well but could not place in the Top 75. To which she displayed strength and gratitude and said,” This year is not the time to conquer the universe but a moment to thank my God's blessings in my life.”

“I did not made it this year to top be one of the top 75 but i think that everything happens for a reason and there's a time for everything,” she continued.
