Binibining Pilipinas is more than just a beauty pageant. It is about having a beautiful soul, a thoughtful mind, a confident personality and a beautiful heart. The Binibining Organisation gave one such opportunity to its contestants to prove their worth during an event held recently. The Bb Pilipinas 2016 contestants participated in an activity with the Habitat for Humanity Organisation. Habitat for Humanity is a regular charity work that the Binibining Pilipinas Organisation follows every year with sincerity and commitment.

As part of their Preliminary Activity, the finalists painted houses and made sure to reach out to the less privileged families of the society. The delegates took out time from their packed schedule. Aside from painting the houses, the beauties took out time and had a fun chat with the kids. The girls were seen talking, playing and bonding with the kids.

This initiative by Bb. Pilipinas of collaborating with Habitat for Humanity has been commendable, as this gives us a chance to witness the inner beauty of the beauty queens. This is one time when the ladies are seen enjoying the moment and not worry about their makeup and dresses, or how they look. What is also noticeable is the effort and dedication that the contestants give in. Their presence and whole hearted devotion towards the charitable activity is something that will be remembered forever.
The 53rd edition of Binibining Pilipinas pageant 2016 (Miss Universe Philippines 2016) is scheduled to be held on April 17’ 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines.
