Indy Johnson appointed Miss Grand Thailand 2021

Miss Grand Thailand organization has decided to appoint the 2021 representative instead of hosting a national competition due to the spread of covid-19 virus. The organization took to their official social media as they announced the appointment of Indy Johnson as the new Miss Grand Thailand 2021 who will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2021. Indy succeeds Miss Grand Thailand 2020

The organization wrote, "Official Announcement. Due to the COVID-19 situation in Thailand at the moment that still has a heavy epidemic And there are many deaths per day, so in order to comply with safety and in accordance with the measures of the state at the moment. Therefore, I would like to announce that Miss Grand Thailand Pageant Division would like to appoint Indy Johnson, 1st runner up Miss Grand Thailand 2020 represent Thailand in the Miss Grand International 2021 contest."



Indy was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Grand Thailand 2020. Hailing from the city of Bangkok, Indy stands 175 cm tall and has graduated with a degree from Bangkok University. Not new to the industry, Indy participated in The Face Thailand Season 2 but unfortunately, didn’t make it to the final rounds. Indy is a strong supporter and advocate of self-love as well as women empowerment.

Being dark-skinned, she also tries to minimize the discussion over the skin tones in the beauty and fashion world through her social media posts. She has always tried to uplift the women especially the young girls who are looking for a role model to inspire them and motivate them to take steps for their future. Indy wants to be a positive and impactful role model for women who look up to and she has always tried to be positive and humble towards everyone. Indy is also a fitness enthusiast and spends her free time working out in the gym and sometimes outdoors too.

At Miss Grand International 2020, Patcharaporn Chantarapadit Miss Grand Thailand 2020 represented her country and placed in the Top 20 with her stellar performance. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
