With Miss Universe Philippines separating from Binibining Pilipinas this year, the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be hosted in the next year. For the national pageant, now the wishlists have grown ever bigger because the former beauty queens can also apply to the newly branded pageant.
For the same, we would love to see Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell compete for Miss Universe Philippines 2020. The 25-year-old Filipina beauty hails from Cebu and stands 175 cm tall. A Filipino-Actress, TV Host, news anchor, dancer and a beauty queen, Jamie has achieved quite a lot at such a young age. During her successful reign as Miss Earth 2014, Jamie was a recipient of the Outstanding Individual Award during the 80th Cebu City Charter Day Awarding Ceremony for her environmental advocacies.
Not new to the pageantry, Jamie has been in the pageant world for a long time. She began her pageant journey as she began with Reyna ng Aliwan 2013 and then participated in Sinulog Festival Queen 2013. She was also the winner of Miss Mega Cebu 2013 and then went on to win Miss Philippines Earth 2014. With her national win, she then went on to compete in Miss Earth 2014 and won the coveted crown as well.
