At the end of the enchanting gala night of the Miss United Continents 2016 (Miss Continentes Unidos 2016) held on 24 September 2016 at Crystal Palace, Guayaquil, Ecuador, Jeslyn David Santos from Philippines was crowned as the coveted winner.
At the same pageant, Mette Riis Sorensen of Denmark was announced as the ‘Vice Queen’ and was titled first runner-up, Lopamudra Raut from India was adjudged the second runner- up, Taynara Gargantini of Brazil was titled third runner- up, Cynthia Duque of Mexico made it to the fourth runner- up and Rita Silvestre of Panama finished as fifth runner- up.
Miss United Continents 2016 Runners Up
Jeslyn clinched the enticing crown of Miss Continentes Unidos 2016 after defeating 27 other finalists, and becomes the first Asian beauty to win the Ecuador-based pageant. Jeslyn is not new to the world of pageantry as she had earlier participated at few pageants such as; Bb. Republica Filipina 2015 and Bb. Pilipinas 2016. At the end of Bb. Republica Filipina 2015, she was titled as the winner.

The Pinay beauty hails from Hagonoy, Bulacan and is a Broadcast Communication graduate. She loves to play volleyball and was the team captain of her college team where she won the gold medal.
The finale was judged by the following judges:

Nathalia Lago: Miss United Continents 2015.
Christian Quintero: Jewelry Designer and creator of the crown.
Gissella Quezada: Image Consulting of the Miss Ecuador Organization.
Ingeniero Xavier Ortega: Sales Manager at Gamatv.
Alberto Plaza: Famous singer and President of the Jury.
Claudia Schiess: Miss Ecuador and Miss American Continent 2011.

During the pageant, each one of the delegates modeled their own swimsuits. The young talented singer, Roberto Ruben did an outstanding music performance during the competition.
At the enticing preliminary gala of Miss United Continents 2016 which that took place in Pujilí last week, saw the beauties showcase their respective national costumes. Ana María Landaeta (Colombia), Cecilia Drouet (Ecuador) and Lopamudra Raut (India) were awarded in the scenario as the three finalists of the Best National Costume 2016. Miss United Continents India 2016 Lopamudra Raut acquired the sash as the main winner in the Best National Costume segment, while Cynthia Duque from Mexico was titled as Miss Photogenic.
