Jessica Gonzales is the finalist number 21 for Binibining Pilipinas 2016. She is from Paumbong, Bulacan and was a champion chess player during her high school days.

The 24 years old Jessica loves to sing, and in fact singing gives her the high. She is proud to belong to a family of Overseas Filipino Workers, and she learned a lot of different things from her ancestors, and the lady feels blessed about it.

She stands tall at a towering height of 5’10”, and is apparently the tallest contender among the other 39 Binibinis. She owns a majestic aura which automatically attracts people towards her, and if her presence catches up quickly, then she can easily become one of the best Binibining Pilipinas winners ever.  

She is poised with grace, which is just apt for any international pageant stage. After all, who wouldn’t love a truly statuesque Filipina to represent Philippines at the coveted pageant like Miss Universe?

Jessica Gonzales describes her gratitude as being an official candidate of Bb. Pilipinas 2016. Read on:

“This is my first pageant – Bb. Pilipinas – the most prestigious beauty pageant in our country. I feel so blessed that I was given the chance to be part of this year’s hopefuls. I never thought that I would be joining any pageant as I am really shy. But slowly, I learned how to overcome my fears and shyness. I’ve gained confidence and self-esteem.”

"Now that i am here, I feel so happy about everything that is happening. I enjoy every activity that we do. At the same time, I feel so overwhelmed that there are people – even the ones that I don’t know personally – who believe in what I can do.”

“Yes, I am a first-timer but it doesn’t mean I cannot make it. Because joining Bb. Pilipinas is not only for myself but also for the people who support and believe in me, most especially my family. I am blessed enough to have this towering height. Being the tallest among the BbP candidates is one of my greatest advantages. It is not common for a pure Filipina to be this tall. There are people who seem to get intimidated when I stand beside them (even my friends and other family members).”

The 53rd edition of Binibining Pilipinas pageant 2016 is scheduled to be held on April 17’ 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. Wherein, the reigning Bb. Pilipinas Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach will pass her crown to her successor at the end of the pageant.
