The splendid finale of Miss Eco Universe 2016 held on April 14’ 2016 concluded with the crowning of Natalia Sanchez as the winner. At the same event, Lais Berte from Brazil was titled as first runner-up, Jiayi Serena Yuna from China was adjudged second runner-up and Anastasia from Bashkiria was adjudged third runner-up.

Natalia was crowned by her predecessor, Patricia Peklar from Slovenia. Natalia will now work towards bringing forward her environmental advocacies and ideologies. The major principle behind building this international beauty contest is based on - “BEAUTY talking about economic & environmental, to call for the environment, to take care of our planet.”

Miss Eco Universe beauty pageant looks for delegate who has the ability to spread the message of protecting the environment. The pageant aims at selecting a representative who can be the ‘ECO queen’ and can endorse Eco-tourism worldwide and encourage the principle of keeping the earth secure and clean, not just environmentally but also culturally through the exchange of cultures between beauty queens.

In addition to the title and the crown, Natalia also awarded with the prize money of USD 10.000. There were a series of Special Awards that were awarded to the contestants under the following category –

Miss Digital - S Olvah Alhamid Miss Indonesia

Miss Congeniality - Julia Njoroge Miss Kenya

Miss Smile - Chisato Nagayasu Miss Japan
