The finale of the second edition of the Jewel of the World beauty pageant was held tonight at GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium in Manila, Philippines and seventeen lovely candidates from several countries competed for the title of Jewel of the World 2019. The finale concluded with the crowning of Amie Chontida (full name Chontida Chatsirichai) as the Jewel of the World 2019 by her predecessor and the winner of the inaugural edition of the pageant - Jewel of the World 2018 Neena Macaire Bezuidenhout.

Amie’s court at the finale comprised of -
First Runner-up - Maria Divine Angela Veranga of the Philippines
Second Runner-up – Huli Xie of China
Third Runner-up – Susy Sacoto of Ecuador
Fourth Runner-up - Kyla Maloney of South Africa
Besides crowning and declaring the winners and the runners-up, series of special awards were also announced at the finale and the winners were Miss Photogenic – China, Miss Friendship – Japan and Miss Personality – United States of America.

Prior to the finale, a series of preliminary events were organized which saw the candidates competing in national/ cultural costume competition and talent competition. The winners at the preliminary contests were -

First Runner-up - Apaysha Khadka of Nepal
Second Runner-up - Kyla Maloney of South Africa

Cultural Costume Competition
Winner – Nang Cherry of Myanmar
First Runner-up - Maria Divine Angela Veranga of the Philippines
Second Runner-up - Susy Sacoto of Ecuador

Jewel of the World 2019 pageant commenced with the press presentation of the candidates which was held at Hilton Manila on May 7th 2019. Ever since then the candidates have indulged in several tours, activities, shoots etc. besides spending time bonding, relaxing and having fun. All in seventeen candidates participated in the second edition, and the candidates were Huli Xie of China, Sarah Assalé of Côte d'Ivoire, Susy Sacoto of Ecuador, Jade Dalvana of France, Lauretta Thompson of Ghana, Silvany Likur of Indonesia, Jane Pagaduan of Italy, Wakaba Suda of Japan, Wynnona Sli of Malaysia, Nang Cherry of Myanmar, Apaysha Khadka of Nepal, Divine Veranga of Philippines, Kyla Maloney of South Africa, Amie Chontida of Thailand, Eugenie Videgla of Togo, Marshalla Pearl Kahleck of United States of America, Cynthia Sakala of Zambia.
