Kalin Burt was crowned Miss Teen Alabama USA 2019 at the state pageant finale held in Montgomery on 17th November 2018 by her predecessor Kennedy Cromeens, Miss Teen Alabama USA 2018. Representing Hoover, she defeated thirty-two other contestants competing for the state title, and earned the right to represent Alabama in Miss Teen USA 2019 national beauty pageant.
Her court at the state finale, the other finalists who made to Top 5, were Olivia Taylor (Tuscaloosa County), Kennedy Whisenant (Birmingham), Raley Madison Pasibe (United Southeast) and Alexis Fagan (Lake Tuscaloosa). Kalin, who also competed in Miss Teen Alabama USA 2018 and finished as the first runner-up to Kennedy Cromeens, managed to eventually win the title in the succeeding edition.
Kalin is a 19-year-old Presidential Scholar at the University of Alabama with a double major in Finance and Spanish. Modelling has been her passion since an early age and she began part-time modelling at the age of 15, and currently she is signed-up with MMG Model Management in New York. Her modelling experience has given her the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, and she desires to be able to travel to other countries, especially places where she can use her bilingual skills.
Besides modelling, she is also working as a part-time accounts payable clerk and translator for her family business. Her goal is to continue modelling, while pursuing her college degree, and with hard work and determination she hopes to become the first woman CEO/ owner of her family business. On personal front she enjoys watching Alabama football games, staying fit and healthy, helping the community, and spending time with friends and family.
Kalin, with her stunning looks, modelesque figure, bilingual skills, and perseverance and dedication to achieve her goals, can surely go on and win the national title of Miss Teen USA 2019 at the pageant finale slated to be held on April 28th 2019 and is one of Angelopedia’s favourite candidates to be crowned. If she manages to win, she will also set a record by becoming the first teen from Alabama to win the Miss Teen USA title.
