Karen Bustos has been crowned as Miss Earth Mexico 2017 and she will now represent her country, Mexico in the Miss Earth 2017 pageant to be held on 4th November 2017 in Manila, Philippines.
Karen Bustos is 19 years old and stands at an astounding height of 182 cm. Karen belongs to the state of San Luis Potosi. She was selected from top 8 candidates in a semifinal event of the national pageant. There were total 30 candidates who participated in the competition.

The grand finale of Miss Earth Mexico was scheduled to take place on September 10 but was cancelled due to 8.2 magnitude earthquake that hits Mexico few hours ago. The epicenter of the earthquake is in Chiapas - the host state of Miss Earth Mexico 2017.
Miss Earth Mexico 2016 Itzel Paola Astudillo were present to pass the crown and reign to the winner. She gave her best wishes to the winner for Miss Earth 2017 competition.
