A rumour about some changes in the result of Bb Pilipinas 2017 was going around on social media yesterday. It all started when the Facebook page of “The Philippine Pageantry” posted something about the change or dethronement among the winners of Bb Pilipinas 2017. Soon, there were rumours that Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2017 Katarina Rodriguez is resigning from her title.

Katarina Rodriguez, however, immediately responded to reports and took to her social media to address the rumour. The beauty denied making any announcement. Katarina said in her Instagram and Twitter posts: "I never made any announcements that I'm not accepting the crown. Is it alright if everyone refrains from making assumptions first?" She also assured her supporters, "whatever decision I make in regards to ANYTHING I will always consider where my heart & mind lie simultaneously."

She also posted a follow up on Instagram and wrote, "Hi fam. Never made an announcement to anyone that I'm resigning the crown. It's been two days since one of the most intense and fun experiences of my life. I've been sleeping and talking to my family, friends and loved ones. Also wanted to say whatever decision I make in regards to anything I will always consider where my heart and mind lie simultaneously. There's a lot of magic in honesty. Remember that."

Binibini 31 Katarina Rodriguez was seen during Season 2 of Asia’s Next Top Model as one of the Top 3 finishers. Standing tall at 5’7”, Katarina has the face to command attention and the brains to match with her good looks. She has great communication skills. She is a student in De La  Salle University (DLSU), taking up Philosophy and Business Management. She is a member of the  DLSU Women's Track and Field Team. 

So, this announcement by Katarina is going to bring relief to all the fans who have been worried about Katarina’s resignation. Well, so there is going to be no resignation, and there are going to be no changes in the titleholders. Katarina Rodriguez will be competing at the Miss Intercontinental 2017 finals.
