Kerelyne Webster crowned as Miss World Honduras 2016

18 years old Kerelyne Campigotti Webster has been crowned as Miss Mundo Honduras 2016 at the ceremony held at Hotel Quinta Real on 12th August 2016, and will now represent Honduras at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

Kerelyne is a student of Bachelor of Sciencce and Humanities and stands tall at a towering height of 183cm. Kerelyne defeated 21 gorgeous girls to clinch the coveted title of Miss Mundo Honduras 2016. She succeeds Miss Mundo Honduras 2015 Gabriela Salazar.

At the same pageant, Fernanda Gonzalez was adjudged the first runner-up and Sinea David was titled second runner-up. The runners-up are expected to compete at the Miss International 2016 and Miss Intercontinental 2016 pageants respectively.

The Miss Mundpo Honduras pageant is organized by Eduardo Zablah, under the name “Miss Honduras-Belleza Nacional”. However, this year the name was changed to Miss Honduras Mundo to reflect more of its ties with the Miss World Organization.

Last year, Honduras amazed the world by clinching the first runner-up title at the Miss International 2015 pageant under the representation of Jennifer Valle. However, it has been a long drought at the Miss World pageant for Honduras. Do you think Kerelyne Webster has the potential to end the year long wait of the country?
