Joeypink Lai, one of the top fifteen finalists of the beauty pageant works really hard to achieve her determined dream of becoming the next title holder in the pageant.
Joeypink loves travelling and flies with the Singapore Airlines. She reminisces about a trip in 2013, to Johannesburg in South Africa. She went on to a Soweto tour. The young beauty got really moved with the lives of poor children and how they smiled, making her more grateful to what she has got from life. She looks up to Angelina Jolie, who is not just intelligent, successful, and beautiful, but also a true example of giving back to the society by supporting underprivileged kids.
The 2016 MUS contestant is a real estate agent by day. She chose this field as she is attached to her mother and wanted to spend more time at home. She also believes that she has mastered the art of handling customers well and her communication skills are a plus point, to be a part of this industry.
Lai wants to champion for the protection of animals as well as their welfare. She worries that although animal welfare campaigns have increased significantly, so has the problem of animal-abuse. Joeypink wants humans to treat animals with respect and ensure their well-being.
As a contestant of the national beauty pageant of Singapore, Joeypink says that her personality has evolved a lot. From being a shy and introverted person, she has gone on to become one of the most courageous and determined participants of the MUS pageant.
