
Krishna Rocha is the contestant of Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2016 born in the capital of Managua on September 24, 1993. When she was only two years old, she went to Ocotal with her family on a vacation. With the immense tranquility that this small town gave them, their parents decided to stay and continue their lives in this wonderful corner of Nicaragua.
She grew up as an only child, but admits that she always wanted to have a big brother to take care of her and scold her. She has done her preschool from the CDI New Dawn and has done her primary and secondary from the College of Immaculate Conception Fe y Alegria.

Krishna is a big time Sports lover and was a member of the Women’s Soccer Team during her school days. In 2011, Krishna moved to the capital to further pursue her college studies and the lady decided to study Civil Engineering at the Central University. Under the Miss FICA event held in the first year of her college, Krishna won a full one year scholarship. In the same year, she participated in the Miss Princess, where managed to grab the second position. Along with that, Krishna also managed to bag a series of Special titles including, Best Face, Miss Photogenic and Miss Popular.
Krishna explains that to get into the perfect pageant woman avatar, was a task for her. She is someone who is sporty and has always spent her life indulging into various physical activities. But now that she has entered the Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2015 pageant, it is a bit difficult for her,a s she has to act and be lady like. On one hand, there is this sportsloving athletic girl, and on the other hand, there is this woman with high heels and donning red lipstick. For her, it’s like playing two different characters.
Krishna says that people should not judge and should not go by her first expression and explains, “I might seem like a secluded and very proud girl, but when you establish a connection with me you get to see my smile and know that unique and fun personality." (as translated). Krishna likes spending time with her family and her near and dear ones. Currently as part of her charitable work for Miss World Nicaragua 2016, she is working with the Guardian Ortiz Foundation which promotes the prevention of breast cancer in women in Nicaragua.
