Kylie Verzosa, the reigning queen of Miss International 2016 has already landed in Tokyo for Miss International 2017. Now she will start her duties as the overall coordinator of this year’s pageant activities, in which 71 queens from around the world are participating.

Yesterday the gorgeous lady kick-started the pageant by gracing the renowned Mikimoto Jewellery Shop with some of the Miss International candidates to see her coveted crown. She was looking scintillating in a beige coloured ruffle gown. The queen shared a fun caption on her social media page, “A quick stop to Mikomoto. Saw my crown, not on its right head.”

Sharing a heart warming message for her followers on her social media platform before leaving for Tokyo she wrote, “The past few days of preparation before leaving for Miss International was a blur. Letting go of anything that does not benefit you is necessary to move on, whether that’s emotion or baggage. The year as Miss International is coming to an end, and I am truly happy about my reign. It was a hustle all throughout, if you think it was easy. The crown brought me so many opportunities, and my dreams have come true. I want to thank so many people, my mentors, my friends, my Angels, but, will save it before it becomes a long cheesy post, also because 21 days are still left for crowning night. And I’ll take you through my journey as my last few days as Miss International 2016. – Kylie”

The ever smart and pro-active Kylie has brought a new light to Miss International pageant and set up a strong advocacy for many issues including the one that is close to her heart:  Mental Health Awareness. The Philippian beauty has had the most memorable reign in the recent years of Miss International pageant leaving her mark in the world. During her reign, she has gone to more than ten countries, which is by far a record-breaking feat.   She has crowned four national winners in three different continents, which is another record for a reigning queen under the Miss International organization.

The beautiful queen will pass on her reign to the new winner of Miss International on 14th November 2017. It would be interesting to see who will win the coveted title.
