Miss Universe 2016 pageant is just three weeks away now and we cannot wait to find out the new winner. The contest this year is going to be one exciting event with a bunch of gorgeous contestants competing to clinch the title. The competition this year is tough and a group of gorgeous Latinas are battling it out to become the next Miss Universe.
Miss Brazil Raissa Santana is being provided with various changes. Earlier the evening gown and the national costume for Miss Brazil was designed by pageant veteran Alexandre Dutra, who also designed the winner gown of Leila Lopes. Now, Michelly X has been appointed to design Raissa’s costumes. She is one of the most famous Brazilian Carnaval Costumes designers. Michelly confirmed the news in her instagram post, however she also mentioned that she cannot reveal the designs due to the non-disclosure agreement contract.
Miss Brazil Organisation is taking every step to bring forth their contender. For the first time in the history of Miss Brazil, a social network campaign with the hashtag #AgoraEuSOuRaissa is trending (translated as Now I am Raissa).

On the other hand, Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach is already among the running favourites for the Miss Universe 2016 title. A strong sash is not just what Mariam has; in fact the beauty has worked extremely hard to give her best shot at the pageant. From training hard to working on her looks, walks and presentation skills, Mariam has done it all. She is described as persevering, hardworking and determined.
Another strong Latina has to be Miss Dominican Republic Sal Garcia. The stunning Rosalba “Sal García” Abreu is 24 years of age and stands at an astounding height of 5’ 11”. She is a successful model in Dominican Republic and started her modelling journey at the age of 16. Other than that she spent time volunteering for organizations such as ‘Corazones Nobles.’ The beauty wants to volunteer for many organisations as she believes that volunteering helps make a person stay humane and humble.
Another strong bet has to be Miss Colombia Andrea Tovar. Colombia is all set with one of the most beautiful ambassador’s for bagging the crown of the Miss Universe 2016 contest. This Colombian beauty does not just possess a gorgeous face, but can also attract anyone with her cheerful and optimistic personality. 23 year old Andrea is described as a risk taker by her friends who absolutely adore her for her amazing personality and amicable nature.

How can we forget Miss Universe Mexico 2016 Kristal Silva. From a long time, Mexico has been waiting for a crown and this year could be their year. Kristal has the typical Latina charm and grave to her personality and that adds up to her advantage. She is already among the running favourites for the title. She already has the queenly aura and persona that is required in a Miss Universe winner. Doesn’t she?
So, the finale of Miss Universe 2016 is slated to be held on 30th January 2017 and at the conclusion of the finale, Pia Wurtzbach will pass on her crown to her successor. Who do you think will win the title this year?
