Femina Miss India World 2020 Manasa Varanasi received a warm welcome as she arrived in Hyderabad on Wednesday where she couldn’t stop smiling. Manasa was crowned as the representative of India for Miss World at the finale held in Mumbai on 10th February 2021.

Welcomed with hugs and flowers and a lot of love, Manasa reunited with her family and friends as a royal bike procession brought her from the airport to her home. Looking radiant in a red dress with her crown on her head, Manasa was happily surprised with the arrangements.

Manasa, on her arrival in Hyderabad expressed her emotions as she said, “It feels surreal to have won the crown. I cannot describe how good it feels. This journey was not easy at all. I’ve have my fair share of ups and downs through it all. To be back home to share this moment with my family means a lot.”

“The thing I missed the most is my ammama’s khaana. I look forward to giving her a huge hug and eating lots of homemade food”, she added.

Hyderabadi bikers planned a special surprise for her as they formed a convoy and lead a 5 km long rally to celebrate her win.

Manasa’s parents were hesitant about her taking part in the pageant. Her grandmother minced no words when she told her she was not happy with the decision of her taking part in the pageant. But over the course of her journey, they became her biggest cheerleaders.
