Just after the crowning of Manushi Chhillar, the new Miss World, we saw a pool of congratulations coming in among a few controversies as well. Shashi Tharoor, a Lok Shabha MP was also seen twitting about India’s Miss World 2017 win and combining it with demonetisation.
Shashi Tharoor had tweeted, "What a mistake to demonetise our currency! BJP should have realised that Indian cash dominates the globe: look, even our Chhillar has become Miss World!"
But it seems this tweet did not go down too well with many as he got severe backlash from all over the country especially with MD of the Times of India, Vineet Jain as he gave a fitting reply to Tharoor’s tweet which said –
What’s most interesting is the reply the reigning Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar had in store for Shashi Tharoor! She was ever poise and humble in her reply. She tweeted:

And he also took back his words and apologized instantly -
Pun or not, it is undeniable that this Haryana girl knows how to win hearts with her modesty and meekness. We are all proud of you Manushi!
