Marcela Melendez Parajon is set to represent her city, Leon at the Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2016 pageant.

This chick is ready to do anything when it comes to achieving her goals. She says that her mother taught her when you want something, fight to get it, even if it hurts the way. And this way the satisfaction that comes after the achievement of our goals, is always considered to be the sweetest reward we ever get.

Speaking about her family, she says- “I’am fortunate to have a united and struggling family. My grandmother is the strongest woman, hence I admire her the most in my life. Moreover, she is my role model and seeing her alive, enhances my determination to attain my goals.”

Marcela confesses that her mother does not like her taking part in the beauty pageant because she wants her to finish her education first. However, her mother sees the efforts she is putting to make a cut at the Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2016.

In her spare time, she likes to cook pastries, draw, stitch clothes, listen to music and read as well.

Marcela is currently in her fourth year, pursuing her career in Veterinary Medicine from the UNAN-Leon. She loves animals, and she feels she can communicate with them because she can understand their expressions easily. She thinks animals are completely pure living beings and we can learn a lot from them, like how to be faithful and to love without expecting anything in return.

The future Veterinarian says, if she wins the coveted crown of Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2016, she would love to open a very first private veterinary clinic and laboratory in her own city.
