Mariana Jimenez, the reigning Miss Venezuela, has nude images floating around, but it's not what it seems.
The beauty queen was not hacked, and the picture was not exactly a furtive tough. Jimenez took nude images two years ago for an HIV campaign, prior to Mariana’s joining the Miss Venezuela pageant. In the pictures, she is seen posing nude with other models, but everyone is mostly covered.
And it seems the Miss Venezuela organizers are with the beauty queen.
These nude photos of hers are part of an HIV-AIDS awareness campaign that ran in 2013. The campaign called ‘La Belleza tambien se ACABA’ which translates to ‘Even Beauty Also Ends’. Osmel Sousa and the Miss Venezuela organization support the reigning queen as they are aware of this photo-shoot.
“Media lacking ethics, objectivity and professionalism are seeking to shake things up at the expense of promoting bullying and upsetting everyone affected,” the organization said. “Our Mariana Jimenez, Miss Venezuela 2014, was Miss Sport 2012, and our organization approves of the impeccable behavior mentioned. She responsibly committed to the foundation, and we are her biggest spokespeople to defend her undisputed morals.”
Jimenez also spoke up about her photos, and said they had a beautiful message, but that there would always be negative effects. The images gathered quick public criticism, as soon as they got viral. However, what we feel is that the shoot was done 2 years ago, even before Jimenez was crowned, and secondly the message behind the photoshoot was spreading awareness about HIV / AIDS. Mariana Defend the nude photos by saying that the photos which provides a good message can be unfortunately construed Negatively.
