Miss South Africa 2016 finalist, Felicia Muwayi hailing from Mpumalanga is working as a Production Manager at Red Pepper Pictures. On why she wants to be the next Miss South Africa, Felicia says, “Miss South Africa is not just about the glitz and glamour. I believe a successful Miss South Africa is one who is willing to get down and dirty. Working in the broadcasting/production environment where things are fast-paced and there is little room for mistakes and people’s emotions – I have developed great people skills, which I am passionate about.”

Felicia also shares that her favourite Miss South Africa of all times is Basetsana Kumalo. Felicia feels deeply inspired by the way Basetsana has managed to maintain the discipline between the Business world, continuing to give back through her family foundation. Felicia considers her father as an inspiration in her life. “My father’s persistence and drive to make life better for us all and Mama Winnie’s strength and resilience inspire me.”
Felicia takes great interest in sports and in her spare time she likes watching sports channel to improve her crafts as an aspiring sports anchor. She gives out a strong message to young aspiring models as she says, “Mindset over matter. Go out there – push, persist, persevere and defy the odds.”
