Miss World Mexico pageant is here with its first edition and is scheduled to take place in October 2016. The finale date and venue is yet to be announced by the Miss World Organisation. A total of 32 stunning Mexican beauties are vying for the coveted title this year.

The winner of Miss World Mexico 2016 will represent Mexico at the Miss World 2016 pageant. Earlier, former Miss Universe Lupita Jones used to select the Mexican representative for the Miss World pageant. The new franchise holder of the pageant is Hugo Castellanos. Mexico has not won a single Miss World crown yet. But, the country has managed to bag placements as runners-up and continental queens at the pageant. The reigning Miss World Mexico is Yamelin Ramírez. At the conclusion of the finale of Miss World Mexico 2016, Yamelin will pass on her crown to her successor.
