Miss Earth Japan 2017 is on its road to finale and is scheduled to be held on 30th July 2017.As the pageant is growing larger in Japan, local franchise holders became interested in conducting their own pageant to select their local earth warrior. Miss Earth Japan 2016, Ami Hachiya will pass on her crown and reign to her successor at the conclusion of the finale.
The winner of the pageant will represent Japan in the Miss Earth 2017 beauty pageant slated to be held on November 4, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The beautiful candidates vying for the title this year are:

Japan was first represented in Miss Earth 2001 by Misuzu Hirayama, who was the first titleholder of Miss Earth Japan. She also won the Miss Friendship special award.In 2010, Japan first entered in the final rounds of the Miss Earth beauty pageant, when Marina Kishira placed in the top 7 and won the Best in National Costume award in Miss Earth 2010.
