Miss Grand United States 2017 is all set to gear up to take place today, i.e. 25th July 2017. The winner will then represent USA at Miss Grand International 2017, scheduled to be held on 25th October 2017.
There are total 17 candidates who will be vying for the coveted title. Various events and activities have been organised for the contestants before the finale night. Recently, the Cocktail event and official photo shoot took place and all the contestants looked fabulous and graced the event with their presence.
Cocktail event took place at one of the famous lounges of New York, Faces and Names and the contestants were captured by the renowned photographer Xavier Delbrey. All the delegates were dressed in their best outfits, donning their respective provinces sashes.
Official photo shoots of the contestants was also organised in New York. Styling was done by Eduardo Rosario and Chantel Martinez and his assistant Jamel Ferretty was responsible for doing hair and make- up of the contestants. Kelvyn Peralta was assigned as the photographer of the photo shoot.
The outgoing queen, Michelle León López will officially crown her successor and will also pass the reign to the winner. She was also the Fourth Runner Up at Miss Grand International 2017.
The first edition of Miss Grand International was held on 2013, and this year it will be the fifth edition. It is an annual international beauty contest run by Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand to encourage the 'Stop the War and violence' campaign.
