Winnefeld completed her graduation in the year 2012 from Arizona State University. During her spare time, she enjoys skiing and playing golf.

To compete for the state competition, one has to win the local title and she won Miss Highlands Ranch. To win the local title, Meredith had to do a lot of work in the community and she also worked with Children’s Miracle Network, which raises money for Children’s Hospital Colorado.

People think of this as just a beauty pageant but it is a lot more than that. It is a scholarship organization. “I was Miss Colorado Outstanding Teen in 2011 and won a scholarship, which helped me pay for college. If I win Miss Colorado, it could help me go to graduate school”, she said.

This organization helps woman grow into who they want to be in the future.
