Mexicana Universal 2018 is in its third week of production for the finale to be held on 27th May 2018. Before that, the contestants have been busy with photo shoots, training and preparing for the grand finale. The winner of the national pageant will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2018.
Just recently, the candidates did a photo shoot in evening gowns. Each of the delegates dazzled in the shoot, oozing glam and confidence. There is no doubt that every contestant looked ever so beautiful in their photoshoot.
So, here is Angelopedia’s favourite five picks out of the evening gown photo shoot for Mexicana Universal 2018.
Mexicana Universal Baja California Sur 2017 Juliana Martínez
The 18-year-old diva took our breath away in her purple and white meshed evening gown. With her tall frame, the gown looked even more beautiful, complimenting her figure.
Juliana has been progressing in the competition at a consistent pace. The strapless gown was all she needed to rock the shoot, as she wore nothing but a bracelet along with it.
Mexicana Universal Colima 2017 Andrea Toscano
The 19-year-old student of nutrition, Andrea is also one of the strongest bets for this year’s national pageant. In her evening gown shoot, Andrea wore a blood red strapless floor length gown. Complimenting the outfit with silver earrings, bracelet and rings, Andrea sure burned the floor with her dazzling smile.
Since the start of the competition, Andrea has been saved by the jury with her brilliant performance. Just the same way, Andrea sure rocked the photo shoot with her talent.
Mexicana Universal Jalisco 2017 Nebai Torres
Like a boss lady, Nebai Torres dominated her shoot in a glittering red gown. Her outfit flowed to the ground, complimenting her body naturally. Nebai also gleamed up her dress with complimenting silver jewellery.
The Mexican beauty has also performed with consistency at the competition till now, being saved by the jury in both the weeks. She is definitely one of the strongest competitors in the competition right now.
Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2017 Maryely Leal
Our personal favourite for the crown, Maryely Leal is people’s favourite too for sure. The 21-year-old definitely rocked her outfit, which was a little different than all the other gowns. The nude gown with hints of green and black made her look like a queen in the shoot.
Maryely definitely portrayed the right attitude and gave several great poses. With a little bump in the road as she was not saved in the second week, we hope she makes a great come back and shines just like she did in this shoot.
Mexicana Universal Veracruz 2017 Martha Briano
The 21-year-old Martha Briano looked so beautiful at the shoot that there are not enough adjectives to praise her. The glittering maroon gown hugged her body like second skin, making her look gorgeous. Her tall and slender frame was also highlighted in the outfit.
Martha just paired up her gown with silver earrings and let her grace and perfection do the talking. There is no doubt that Martha outshined in the shoot just like her performance in the competition so far.
