02 Feb 2021 | Angelique Reyes

Mexicana Universal 2020 Andrea Meza was recently a victim of robbery in Guadalajara and all her belongings were taken. The organization of Mexicana Universal Chihuahua posted on their official Facebook page that the diva is fine now and the false rumours about her being assaulted and missing for hours shouldn’t be circulated.

“Mexican Universal Chihuahua, thanks the concern of all of you, we inform you that ALMA ANDREA MEZA CARMONA, MEXICANA UNIVERSAL 2020, is well, was a victim of a theft, but it is okay, and the information circulating on networks is false, never She was, not even missing, we ask you for more respect when giving this kind of information,” was posted online.

Andrea Meza was crowned Mexicana Universal 2020 on 29th November 2020 at Hotel Misión Grand Juriquilla Santiago de Querétaro and earned a chance to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020. She wants to use the platform to empower women and work for the society as she feels deeply for the people in her community. She is one of the favourites for the title and is very strong, confident, and focused towards her goals.

Andrea also stated that she is fine and is recovering from the incident. One of her advocacies also include the harassment on streets and she is preparing to advocate about the same using the platform she has right now.  We wish Andrea with good health, and speedy recovery.
