Mexicana Universal 2020 will be the 3rd edition of the Mexicana Universal pageant. Thirty-two candidates from all over the Mexican Republic will compete for the national title. Sofía Aragón of Jalisco will crown her successor at end of the event. The winner will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
Italy Reynoso who hails from Loreto was crowned Mexicana Universal Baja California Sur 2019 on 2nd March 2020 and will be representing the city of Baja California Sur at Mexicana Universal 2020. Itlay has succeeded Mexicana Universal Baja California Sur 2018 Melissa Tiscareño Antuna from Peace.
Italy is 23-years-old and stands 174cm tall with a graduate degree in modern languages. Italy is a modern, optimistic and strong opinionated woman who has worked very hard for the title of Mexicana Universal Baja California Sur 2019 and an opportunity to represent her province at Mexicana Universal 2020 platform. If she wins, she can represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020.
Italy has started to prepare for the finale event as she wants to give her best during the competition and impress the judges. She is fluent in English and French but is working on her interview skills, body language and postures, her on-stage walk and confidence for the pageant.
Loreto City Council, headed by Professor Arely Arce Peralta, congratulated the young woman, for her outstanding participation in being elected representative of the state, for the beauty contest. Anaí Romero Arce, the private secretary accompanied the diva to coronation night on behalf of the municipal president of Loreto. She is not new to pageantry as she participated in Nuestra Belleza Loreto 2015 and Nuestra Belleza Baja California Sur 2015. She has worked with some designers in order to understand the world of pageantry and has turned out to be a quick learner in picking up some tips and techniques that can be helpful for her during the pageant.
Italy feels excited and blessed to be a part of a platform which helps her showcase her cultural and traditional values to the people. The people of Loreto and Ms. Anaí Romero Arce, strongly believes that Italy has all the skills and abilities to not only represent the state at Mexicana Universal 2020 competition but also win and represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020. They believe that she has the capability and beauty to put the name of the state and the Municipality of Loreto, very high.
Italy would use this platform to work on herself and give it back to the people who have always let her down or demeaned her in a way that she stopped believing in herself. She has suffered teasing in adolescence by the physicist but now has learnt to get the good side of criticism and has grown a lot. She is very passionate towards winning and fulfilling her dreams and believes that dreams do come true. She can be a strong candidate for the title as she is very strong and is working constantly to win.
