On 7th March 2018, Jenyfer Benitez was crowned Mexicana Universal Hidalgo 2017, where she was all set to represent Hidalgo at Mexicana Universal 2018. But unfortunately, she had to withdraw from the competition due to personal reasons.
The new representative, Constanza Kanabuari, will now take her place in the national competition which will be held on 27th May 2018. The tall, green-eyed beauty definitely has what it takes to win the competition and represent her country at Miss Universe.
Mexicana Universal Hidalgo shared the news of replacement on their official Facebook page in a post –
“Through this communication the coronation of Mexican Universal Hidalgo informs that for personal reasons and own decision, Jenyfer Benitez Penafiel who was crowned the new representative on 7th March, renounced the title obtained for which she will not participate in the edition of Mexicana Universal 2018. Because of that, the national coordination has elected other participant to represent our state who will be Constanza Kanabuari who will be sharing all the progress of your participation in our social networks.
The team of Mexicana Universal Hidalgo thanks the support of all our sponsors and reaffirms its commitment to them.”
