Thania de la Fuente Córdova was crowned Mexicana Universal Tabasco 2019 on 24th November 2019 and will be representing Tabasco at Mexicana Universal 2020. Originally from the Municipality of Comalcalco, she is 22-years-old and stands 170cm tall with a degree in Psychology from Puebla University Institute, Tabasco Campus. She believes that she has all the qualities that a woman needs to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 competition.

Thania De La Fuente is not new to the pageantry as participated in Mexicana Universal Tabasco 2017 where she was placed as second runner-up and has been modeling for 7 years.  She has already started to prepare for the competition intensively focusing on public speaking and her walk.

As a Psychologist, Thania is focused on working in favor of the family and eradicating domestic violence. She wants to focus and help the children who are the victims of such situations where domestic violence hampers their lives.

Thania explained that she is honored and blessed to represent Tabasco at Mexicana Universal 2020. With such honor comes new challenges, learning and a path to travel with a lot of preparation and growth and she is dedicated and focused completely on it. She lives by the motto, ‘Say yes to life and create your own truth.’

Thania can be a tough competition for the title of Mexicana Universal 2020 as she has already started prepping herself up for the finale and she has experience of almost seven years in the industry. She is focused and very disciplined towards her goal which is to win the title of Mexicana Universal 2020 after which she will be eligible to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020.
