Miriam Sornprommas for Miss Universe Thailand 2020 crown?

13 Apr 2020 | Priya Bhardwaj

With Miss Universe Organization allowing the National Directors to appoint the last year’s runner-up as the representative for the country at Miss Universe 2020 following the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, there are chances that Thailand might appoint the delegate as well. The decision is a wise one because there wont be any time for the countries to organize a national pageant and prepare a new girl for the international pageant.

If this comes true, then Miriam Sornprommas will be representing Thailand in Miss Universe 2019 as she was adjudged the first runner-up position at the last year’s national pageant. The stunning Thai beauty has a very high-society air around her that makes her so hard to ignore. Miriam showed that she is a confident woman with eccentric personality that is kind of rare to find in pageantry.

Standing a whopping 183 cm tall, Miriam could be one of the tallest ladies at the contest giving her an edge over the contestants participating in the competition. She is also a good communicator and strong orator and keeps her thoughts clearly in front of people, another strong trait of hers which can help her in becoming a strong front runner.

At Miss Universe Thailand 2019, Miriam gave a stupendous performance winning the first runner-up position. She was also awarded the Miss Centara Sustainability, Miss Glowing Face awards at the finale. Being a fresher at the competition last year, Miriam showed that she was no less than the other veterans participating in the competition.

Even though Miss Universe Thailand Organization has given out no details as of now about the national contest being held, the chances of the national organisations being able to hold a pageant are slim due to the ongoing corona virus scare. If Thailand follows in Panama’s footsteps, then Miriam will definitely be a strong successor of Paweensuda Drouin, Miss Universe Thailand 2019 winner and Miss Universe 2019 Top 5.
